Lake View House is situated 1 mile from Ballinamore in a rural setting approximately one hundred metres from Lake View Lodge making the two properties on the same lane ideal accommodation for for larger groups. Residents at the House also have access to the lake and The Granary games room and facilities located beside Lake View Lodge.
Lake View House is in fact a spacious four bedroom bungalow sleeping six adults and consists of one double en-suite, two twin bedrooms and a single bedroom. There is also a shared bathroom with shower. It has a fully fitted kitchen with crockery and utensils for six with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, and deep fat fryer. The sitting room has an open fire for those cooler evenings and there is a separate dining room. Bed linen, duvets and towels are provided as is a hairdryer for those who need it. A washing machine and tumble dryer is available for your convenience in the utility room.
There is private parking for several cars and in the rear garden you will find a slide and a swing ideal for the children.
Electricity and oil usually charged at a supplement are included for Ireland Travel Plus guests.
Lake View Lodge under the same ownership is situated 100 metres away down the lane and the two properties are ideal if you have a larger party to accommodate
Ballinamore hosts a colourful annual family festival the second week of August with fun activities for all the family along with live music most evenings. There are also many attractions of natural and historical interest locally. Day cruisers are available for hire on the canal and the Kingfisher trail offers 5 routes in and around Ballinamore for beginners, families and seasoned cyclists. A 9 hole golf course set in parklands bordering the Ballyconnell-Ballinamore canal offers panoramic countryside views and welcomes visitors with play at €20 a day
Anglers Welcome
A self contained storage area complete with bait fridges is available for your use and the utility room has a sink and drying facilities. Two lake boats are available for shared use on Georges Lake adjacent to Lake View Lodge. Your host Brian will take you on a tour of the local waters so you can familiarise yourself and make you venue choices. Bait can also be pre-ordered via your hosts to be available on arrival.
With over 40 lakes within easy reach and the Shannon Erne Waterway on your doorstep there is plenty of angling for everyone.
