Just a mile outside Ballinamore you will find Lake View Lodge in a rural setting surrounded by a working farm and with it's own private mooring on George's lake. The location of this 4 * Irish Tourist Board approved property really is delightful if you are looking for a countryside setting and is suitable for anyone wanting to come and stay in the area all year round. The property benefits from oil fired central heating and for rainy days even has a games room with darts board and pool table.
This spacious two storey house can sleep up to 5 or 6 adults with one double en-suite bedroom and two further twin rooms with a shared shower room all on the first floor. Bed linen, duvets and towels are provided and there is a hairdryer for those that need it.
On the ground floor you will find a roomy reception area with telephone, lounge with multi-channel TV and an open fire, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, deep fat fryer and all the crockery and cutlery you need, a dining room and a cloakroom.
Across the yard where there is private parking for several vehicles, the re-furbished barn houses a games room. Here you can enjoy a game of darts or pool or chill out with a few beers. The games room is also available to guests staying at Lake View House.
Electricity and oil usually charged at a supplement are included for Ireland Travel Plus guests.
Lake View House under the same ownership is situated at the entrance to the lane, 100 metres away and the two properties are ideal if you have a larger party to accommodate.
Ballinamore hosts a colourful annual family festival the second week of August with fun activities for all the family along with live music most evenings. There are also many attractions of natural and historical interest locally. Day cruisers are available for hire on the canal and the Kingfisher trail offers 5 routes in and around Ballinamore for beginners, families and seasoned cyclists. A 9 hole golf course set in parklands bordering the Ballyconnell-Ballinamore canal offers panoramic countryside views and welcomes visitors with play at €20 a day

Your host Brian will take you on a tour of the local waters so you can familiarise yourself and make you venue choices. Bait can also be pre-ordered via your hosts to be available on arrival.
